Welcome to the ARCHmedia Framework place. ARCHmedia Framework is a framework for the famous OpenSource content management repository Fedora™.

ARCHmedia Framework provides high-level interface to manage Fedora™ repository content, and allows you to write nice standalone or web applications for Fedora™.

Why Spring ?

ARCHmedia Framework is based on Spring (core) because of use of Ioc for its configuration. You can find the spring configuration file in the related stuff at the end of this page. Spring is a really good framework which helps a lot developers in developping applications.

Is ARCHmedia Framework OpenSource ?

Yeah. We decided to release ARCHmedia Framework under the term of the GPL v2 license. Please read the license's terms at FSF.

ARCHmedia Framework's purpose

ARCHmedia Framework introduced the concept of plugin for Fedora™'s disseminators and we provide a BMech and a BDef which comes by default with the framework. You can find these files at the bottom of this page with the related stuff.

We planned to add more services as plugin for the framework soon.
